Frequently Asked Questions

OperationsInc is one of the largest HR consulting practices in the U.S. Among the landscape of similar companies, we are one of a few—if not, only—organizations conducting panel research solely on HR topics and trends. What makes this even more unique is that we are encouraging our panelists to help set the direction of our survey topics. We want our panelists to provide input and, as a result, influence the content of our future surveys.

If you are an HR professional or in a leadership role with HR functions, participating in our surveys will give you first-look access to the latest trends and insights on the workplace and all things HR-related.

Being a panelist means that you are choosing to take our surveys and, in turn, will be among the first recipients of the data results. Not only will panelists receive more streamlined up-to-date insights, but they will also be able help set the direction of survey topics and will have influence over the content of the surveys. So, if you’re looking for a specific HR-related survey topic, you’ve come to the right place!

We are asking for your information so that we can have the ability to segment the data results (like looking at trends by industry or firm size) and report out from different angles. Overall, the objective is to be able to compile your information from registration and from your survey answers so that we can produce richer, more robust data insights and find correlations between types of businesses and their HR decisions or strategies.

By filling out your information at registration, we’ll automatically have it stored and won’t bother you for it each time you fill out a survey. We will, however, ask that you update your information with us once per year so we can ensure we have the most up-to-date data.

Your information will be solely used for research purposes. We will never share, sell, or publish any information you provide. The sign-up form does not ask for your name or the name of your company, and your e-mail address is only needed so that we can send you surveys and data results. Additionally, any information that we have on your company and role will be suppressed within our data results so as not to personally identify you in any way.

Surveys will be deployed to you by e-mail. You may receive as many as four surveys per month, but your participation is voluntary. You are not required to complete surveys to remain a member of the panel; however, if you choose to opt out of taking a survey, you will not have first-access to those data results.

You can expect no more than eight questions per survey and each survey should take only a few minutes to complete. Occasionally, longer surveys may be conducted throughout the year, but remember, your participation is voluntary.

We will send you an e-mail with a link to the data results online. There will also be more comprehensive reports that will be available to panelists as a download. To see examples of survey results we’ve published for public use, visit our survey report archive

We’ll be sad to see you go! Just send us an email and we’ll re-move you from our panel. You can opt back in at any time by just signing up again using the form.

We would love to hear from you! Please send us an email with any questions or suggestions.
